We are the gateway to the Eastern Manitoba Parklands. To the east are the Sandilands/Agassiz Forest Reserves, and beyond that is the Falcon Lake/West Hawk Lake Provincial Park. We are a stop on the way to the Kenora Lake Country.
Richer also is the location of the Premier Peat Moss Plant, just across the highway from the Richer Inn.
